teacher facilitated distance learning.
Get creative with CREST Star and SuperStar. Administered by the British Science Association (BSA), CREST Star & SuperStar activities help support children to solve real-life STEM challenges through practical investigation and discussion. You should have received an email from me explaining our offer of Free Virtual Learning support by STEM Ambassadors who can give talks/workshops live to operational schools.
The link is now up and running for you to register and request a STEM Ambassador to virtually visit your school (see below).
Please note: These workshops are for operational schools only, and you will need to make sure that there is a teacher present. These talks/activities cannot unfortunately be offered to children working from home for safe-guarding reasons.

The IMechE’s STEM at Home activities have officially launched and are available at: www.imeche.org/stemathome
The free downloadable STEM activities can be completed at home featuring instructional step by step videos, accessible kit lists and online worksheets with clear curriculum links and learning outcomes. The activities are broadly non-industry specific and cater to a range of ages and abilities, with extension activities detailed for older/more able children. Please do take a look at the drop down for each activity, where you will find all the above resources, as well as the brochure online which provides a complete overview.
