Pupil Premium Impact & Expenditure
Free School Meals
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to universal free school meals.
Children in Year 3 or older
You are eligible to free school meals if you receive any of the following:
Income Support
Income Based Jobseeker's Allowance
Pension Credit (Guarantee Credit element)
Income Related Employment Support Allowance
Child Tax Credit with income below £16,190
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
Working Tax Credit
Universal Credit with earned income below £7,400
In addition to school funding received from Hertfordshire County Council/Education Funding Agency, Summercroft Primary School is able to claim a £1455 grant from Government each year called the Pupil Premium for children whose parents or carers receive any of the benefits above.
To help see if you are eligible we invite all parents of enrolled children to complete the attached form.
Application for Free School Meals Eligibility
We will enter this online at www.cloudforedu.org.uk/ofsm/sims where your information will be retained and checked at regular intervals notifying us if you become eligible at some point in the future.
